Centili has recently integrated with Ovo, Dana and LinkAja, major Indonesian e-Wallets with a combined reach to nearly 80 percent of the country's population. In only a few easy steps, our clients and partners can now introduce popular e-Wallet payments that cater to a customer base of over 210 million.

„Centili is extending its reach and fortifying the proposition for large international merchants. By enabling single-point technical integration and solving commercial arrangements, we empower global digital brands to quickly add locally popular payment options “, said Pavan Hande, Director Business Development (PaaS) Asia at Centili.

For many Indonesians, e-Wallets are a solution to everyday financial needs. They are used for household bills payments, peer-to-peer transfers, and digital content purchases. The latter includes games, music, e-learning, and entertainment accessed on smartphones.

Ovo is one of the leading digital payment solutions in Indonesia, and the country's first fintech unicorn. Owned by the Lippo Group and licensed by the central bank since 2017, it has been used on at least 100 million phones. Customers top up their OVO wallets by depositing cash in ATMs and retailer shops; they can also add funds via internet banking and debit cards.

Founded in 2018, Dana also experienced rapid growth, becoming one of the top five e-Wallets in the country. It substitutes cash and bank transfers for a large portion of people who use it to pay for food delivery, taxi rides, their daily coffee fix, bills, digital content and more. Like other wallets, it is popular among younger demographics. Also belonging to the top five, LinkAja operates since 2019. Its user base is estimated at around 75 million.

Statista believes that by 2026 Indonesia will have 239 million people using a smartphone, which will be more than 82 percent of the population. In August 2020, MarketinginAsia reported that already in 2019, nearly half of e-Wallet users in Indonesia had three or more e-Wallets on their phones. In a survey of 1000 respondents by Ipsos, 28% of them said they used two e-wallets to shop, while only around a fifth of them (21%) said they had one e-Wallet on their phone.
