The acclaimed game studio Wargaming has recently activated a premium carrier billing model on O2 in the Czech Republic, enabled by the digital monetisation company Centili.
Under the arrangement, Wargaming introduces carrier billing purchases for all their shop items priced up to the maximum point that can be charged via the network operator. This makes their offering more accessible to players in the Czech Republic.
– We believe this is the way to make telco payments, and we are thrilled to continue to expand and promote it. The O2 Czech Republic has recognised the power of this model. We are delighted to have them on board, as they are a company with great potential and ideas for the digital ecosystem, said Regional Director Europe at Centili Lazar Pasajlic.
Several months back, Centili enabled the same DCB model for Wargaming on all telecom operators in Poland, procuring a competitive commercial setup and handling technical integration. As a result, Wargaming players in Poland can buy in-game items with their PLAY, Plus, T-Mobile and Orange tariffs.
Originating from Minsk, Belarus, Wargaming has 5500 employees and more than 200 million people playing Wargaming’s titles across all major gaming platforms. Their flagship products include the massively popular free-to-play hit World of Tanks and the strategic naval action game World of Warships.
