London, UK | 31 October 2018 - The international game developer and publisher NetDragon partnered with mobile payment platform company Centili, to launch Direct Carrier Billing (DCB) in France and Poland. The partnership will allow users to make one-time payments by simply charging their mobile payments directly to their mobile phone bill. DCB enriches user payment experience and simplifies the processes offering a variety of options for the end-consumer.
These two markets are very competitive for this kind of a partnership, as a fair number of people in these markets have a credit card to make online payments, but on the other side the number of smartphone owners is way larger and is constantly rising. This means most people accessing online content now have an easy and secure way to pay for it. Direct carrier billing does this by allowing each mobile phone owner (either prepaid or postpaid) to have their online payments charged directly to their mobile account.
This partnership between NetDragon and Centili was enabled by advanced technical implementation done by Centili’s experienced team of DCB experts. This kind of a payment process allows merchants to access the latest and most advanced technology made available by telecom companies. At the same time, clients do not need to dedicate time to localization or legal compliance of the checkout flows as they are entirely managed by Centili and localized for each country.
Centili is a direct carrier billing pioneer that enables highly converting mobile payment flows in 80+ countries worldwide. Seamless setup of the complete carrier billing ecosystem with advanced features for one time and recurring payments drives business growth for telecoms, online businesses, app developers, and digital content providers. Centili’s in-house carrier billing platform is built on top of deep industry knowledge and years of large-scale cooperation with mobile operators.
NetDragon is a prominent developer, operator and publisher of online games in China, and also the first Chinese game company that successfully expanded into overseas markets. To date, the Company has released more than 50 self-developed online games and quality mobile apps, such as Eudemons Online, Conquer Online, Heroes Evolved, and Tiger Knight, in more than 15 languages, covering more than 180 countries, with over 65 million registered oversea users.
